Ace Hardware contacted R29 to help them develop and create an annual that celebrated a past year of growth and also communicate their commitment to the communities in which they operate. We worked with them to help collect and retell the stories of Ace and the people who work tirelessly to serve their communities. From the store in Rio Grande that stayed opened until 3 am to sell portable heaters during a snow storm, to the 20 year old Ace Foundation that provided a trip of a lifetime to 50 children across the U.S. with medical conditions to Walt Disney World and Washington D.C., Ace has a created a community of employees and store owners who care about the towns and cities in which they operate. Our goal was to create an annual that told their stories in a way that celebrated them as individuals and as a whole, making it clear to see why they stand out against their competition truly as The Helpful Place™.
