Activewater was acquired by Lifewater International as a means of giving ordinary people the opportunity to do something extraordinary: help people in need receive clean water for life. Activewater sees people’s passion of living an active or athletic lifestyle as an avenue for fundraising for clean water and sanitation in sub-Saharan Africa and other economically challenged places around the world. The website we designed is structured to help people create fundraisers and/or events as either an individual or a team. The website featured leaderboards and key stats and relevant information so that visitors to the site may be educated on the desperate water needs facing people around the world.
The logo design and subsequent overall look and feel were inspired by the Lifewater brand, with its own unique energetic/active aesthetic. It uses bold typography that fits into the theme of motion or athletics.
