The R29 team was excited to partner with Youfit again on their national brand awareness ad campaign. The Youfit team approached R29 to help produce and execute a couple of spots that highlighted Youfit’s focus on their no-pressure, no-contract philosophy – as well as showcase Youfit’s fun and easygoing culture. The “Wedding Spot” taps into our familiarity of what commitment really means to us. And the “Zombie Spot” elevates the absurd in order to capture the all-too-familiar feeling of condescending stares we have experienced in workout/gym environments. Imagery was also pulled from these spots to offer consistency with additional marketing channels, including direct mail.

In this slightly comedic spot, a couple is trying to survive a pack of hungry zombies. They stop to rest, and the man considers joining a gym amid his heavy-breathing, but hates getting creepy looks. Good thing Youfit is a judgement-free zone!
