It’s not every day that we get to work with a client that has virtually created a global industry. Vanguard Logistics Services was founded in 1978, when the now CEO created a way to consolidate cargo from multiple customers into a single freight container, thereby reducing costs for all parties. This innovative approach allowed Vanguard to expand worldwide, owning and operating more locations than any other less than container load consolidator available today.
While an established industry leader, Vanguard lacked a visual identity that adequately communicated their dominance and expertise. Rule29 was engaged to create a new, modern, and elegant brand experience across a number of internal and external touch points, including an updated logo, website, identity system, and customer materials.
The entire experience was designed to position Vanguard as an organization that “lives out” it’s ownership of the industry, and a history of creating powerful solutions for customers around the globe.
