Appleton Coated: One Mill Strong
Appleton Coated has updated its logo and branding, and Rule29 is proud to come on board as the mill’s strategic design partner, implementing the new brand and positioning across all platforms and projects in 2015. The new Appleton Coated proudly establishes the mill’s capabilities and expertise across a range of paper types. Culture Vs Creative?
On May 7th, Justin spoke at the HOW Design Live 2015 Conference in Chicago, Il. His talk, “Why Can Culture Be More Important Than Your Creative?” explore why a company’s culture is potentially the most important (and most elusive) element for success in the design industry. He examined how to go about fostering the kind of company culture that employees want to be a part of and that clients want to work with. See his keynote on slideshare.
Speaking at the American Advertising Federation in Lincoln, NE
Creative Director, Justin Ahrens spoke to a Professional Development Meeting at the American Advertising Federation in Lincoln Nebraska on April 22, 2015. Justin spoke about how to encourage your team to become involved with important social causes, and what that involvement can do for your organization’s vision and creative work. Justin charged the audience with the importance of story and how it changes and motivates people.
2015 AIGA Medalists Announced
Each year, AIGA recognizes a small number of designers for their exceptional achievements, services, or other contributions to the field of design and visual communication with the prestigious AIGA Medal. The winners will be celebrated at the AIGAwards Gala in New York City on May 14. Rule29 was honored by having Creative Director Justin Ahrens on the 2015 Awards Committee.
