Culture Workshop with Mike Erwin
We spend a lot of time together here at Rule29. Between tight deadlines and juggling multiple projects, sometimes we just need to take a step back and explore the different ways we’re all wired so that we can be a more creative and cohesive bunch. We got just that when our good friend Mike Irwin from Team Red, White & Blue and The Positivity Project was kind enough to walk us through as assessment of each of our unique personality traits, and shine a light on our subconscious actions, emotions, and perceptions. We’re super grateful for Mike and his vision for positive psychology’s impact on school-aged children. Check out The Positivity Project for more on how Mike is working to shift how young children view themselves and the world around them.Posted February 17, 2016
Monsters with Vonster
We had the pleasure of having the famous Von Glitschka of Glitschka Studios stop by our office for a workshop on logo development, the possibilities of vectors, and how to keep design fun. A master monster-maker, Von led the team in creating our own paper monsters as a demonstration of his creative process and the ways he uses spontaneity as a valuable tool. A huge thanks to Von for his time, energy, and advice.Posted February 11, 2016
Wheels4Water 2016 has new goal and a new Website!
Over the course of the last two years, Wheels4Water (a Rule29 Give initiative) in partnership with Lifewater International has helped more than 3,400 people in sub-Saharan Africa get safe water for life. We’ve not only seen lives changed through this work, we’ve seen communities transformed. And this year, we’re taking it even further. Over the next year, our goal is to provide over 1,000 Ugandans with safe water and sanitation for life. Only this time, we’re asking anyone to take part in making a difference! To do that we have launched a new Wheels4Water website in partnership with factor1 to provide all the details and tools for anyone to donate, spread the word or hop on a bike and join us.
Please go to the Wheels4Water site to learn more, watch this video we created to see some of the reality we are trying to help change, and see some images from our last trip to Africa to see the impact of this ride first hand.
