An Impactful Activation: #WalkWithGete

Wheels4Water is a part of Rule29’s GIVE initiative and it seeks to bring safe water to people that need it most in partnership with Lifewater International. Over the last 6 years, the Wheels team has raised over $800,000 for over 19,000 Africans to receive safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. Our friends at Lifewater developed an in-depth 360-degree virtual reality tour of a walk for water with Gete, an Ethiopian mother. We are using this at Wheels4Water activations to give people a feeling of how challenging it is to get safe water in Ethiopia. Wheels4Water has done several activations this year, including the 2019 How Design Conference along with some community and professional organizations.
