A Booth With A mission and a plan

The returning “Official Cause” of HOW Design Live, Wheels4Water invited conference attendees to join the mission of making a life-changing impact in the lives of people in the Kaliro District of Uganda, using hands-on experiences and exclusive merchandise. The goal? Raise support to help several hundred Ugandans get safe water and sanitation for life, and create the most memorable HOW conference to date.

Educational Popups

We created this bold evolution of the PowerShares University brand for their nationwide educational events. PSU expanded their events to offer continuing education credits and they needed custom-built event materials to reflect their wide offering of subject material.

A Legendary Environment

Tennis legends come together each year to battle it out on the court for the PowerShares Series® competitive tour. Rule29 was given the opportunity to brand the event, designing a logo, website, environmental advertising, event materials, and more.

Showing impact through a museum experience

This gallery show featured the work and impact through Wheels4Water, a national event that invited people to participate in the fight against the world water crisis. It highlighted a sampling of the work and messaging created in that cause. Viewers would walk away with an understanding and education on how they can make an impact and gain a new perspective on the need for clean water.

A place to connect and belong

Starting with the identity, Rule29 created a logo and print materials that reflected the community-centric, “by-hand” atmosphere. From there, both interior and exterior signage, artwork, and print materials (including menus, hand out cards, gift certificates, etc.), were designed. Collaborating with an interior designer, Rule29 also helped create a space and color plan that sets the tone for the customer experience.

An Urban Campaign

East/West University came to Rule29 to develop a campaign brand to help them reach out to prospective students in Chicago. The campaign became known as Be the One – to connect with young people on a multitude of levels. First, many of East/West’s student body are the first to attend (and graduate from) college. Additionally, East/West empowers these students to reach unseen levels of potential.

We Are One

After a terrific rebrand, Appleton Coated was ready to present themselves to the world and asked us to create a simple booth that helped them spread the word about who they are. Proclaiming proudly to be “WE ARE ONE,” this booth showcased Appleton Coated’s new messaging of creating a variety of quality coated and uncoated papers, as well as honoring the environment and the company’s customers all under one roof.

This is Green

When you get an opportunity to incorporate unicorns and yetis into a conference booth, you take full advantage of it. Appleton Coated knew they wanted to make a big appearance at the HOW Design Live in Atlanta, and were looking for a one-of-a-kind both concept to draw in the conference attendees. Seeing this as an opportunity to differentiate Appleton Coated from other paper mills at the conference, Rule29 created the theme, “This is Green: A Paper Fantasy Land” as a nod to Appleton’s focus on sustainable manufacturing and love for all things whimsical and quirky.

Curb Appeal

Longtime client O'Neil Printing was looking for a creative way to brand and bring to life the outside of their building. Over the last 10 years, Phoenix has grown a large mural and street art culture throughout the downtown. Rule29 came up with the idea to honor that by creating mural-like, large-format graphics that spelled "O'Neil". Once a year, new designs may be created to keep the outdoor experience fresh.

Insuring new possibilities

When Instec wanted to introduce their new insurance platform and wanted a booth to reflect that they turned to Rule29 to make that happen. Working with their vendor we designed a booth that was easy to set up, cost-effective to ship, and highlighted their new messaging.

When they brought best in class services all under one roof and was going to unveil it at the industries biggest conference, Rule29 was there to help. From creating pre-show materials, booth, and airport and transit signage, we made sure Fruition's messaging and brand was consistent throughout the conference experience.
