Elevating an industry leader

It’s not every day that we get to work with a client that has virtually created a global industry. While an established industry leader, Vanguard lacked a visual identity that adequately communicated their dominance and expertise. The identity system features a bold red color palette and inspirational industry imagery that creates a minimal, yet strong and cohesive system.

As a company with a global footprint, we needed to create pieces that could be cross-cultural and sensitive to regional preferences while also adhering to the larger brand.

Water & Education Change Everything

Lifewater International is a non-profit water development organization dedicated to effectively and sustainably serving the world’s rural poor through integrated water, sanitation, and hygiene programs. The organization, which has been around for over 35 years, came to Rule29 for a refresh of their brand, hoping to appeal to new generations and distinguish themselves as a thought and practice leader in this non-profit space.

Introducing a new way to shop

When Sears was developing their latest concept store, mygofer™, they called on Rule29 to create the brand’s trademark and launch materials. Emphasizing the convenience and completeness of the services offered, the trademark is dynamic and bold, utilizing color contrast to call attention to the different elements present in the mark.

We used a print package to share with local businesses on how they can use the new mygofer concept to add value to their employees.

A NEW SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

Mellody Farm was built on a historic a dairy farm, and envisioned to be a truly immersive and unique shopping destination. Reclaimed wood, brick, and steel were utilized to create an industrial aesthetic that recalled the property’s previous use. From this, we created a brand that found its inspiration in farmland and lines created in these fields.

Unique Print Promotions

An open door to a world of creativity and color. Like many creatives, we cut our teeth drawing and scribbling in the pages of coloring books, so we decided it was time to make our own. The result is the Rule29 Variety Show Coloring Book – a whimsical production featuring temporarily grayscale art and design from some of your favorite designers.

Fighting Back

The fight against cancer is ongoing with new developments occurring often. One of the leading organizations in cancer research is the American Cancer Society. They came to Rule29 looking to create a newsletter that would spread the word about their latest happenings in a positive, cheerful fashion while appealing to a wide audience. In addition to being easily updatable for quarterly release, this template features a collection of elements that maintain a dynamic look for each issue.

Telling the inspirational stories of those affected by cancer

This colorful, photo-centric newsletter was developed to showcase the stories of cancer victims, survivors, researchers, and the community of ACS supporters.
