Oh my gourd, the annual Hand Turkey Competition is here! It is time to get creative and design the greatest hand turkey there ever was. New here? Rule29 has a long-standing tradition (11 years!) of welcoming our community to our yearly hand-turkey competition, By a Show of Hands.
Grab your favorite design tools, from crayons, your iPad, to Adobe, and show us your stuff(ing)! There are three categories, kids, grown-ups, and pros in this competition and we have a hand outline for you to use or you can trace your own. There’s no wrong way to hand turkey. Unless it’s offensive—please don’t do that.
We can’t want to see your hand turkeys, we believe in taking the time to make creative matter whether you are a designer not. There is no pressure this competition, Rule29 just wants to see what you can turn an outline of a hand into, turkey wise, of course. If that doesn’t sound great enough, there are prizes. Winners will be mailed an Amazon gift card and the coveted Official Hand Turkey Winner Certificate! It’s about to get gravy!
