Rule29 Wins Gold and Platinum at MarCom Awards

We are honored to have won both platinum and gold in the 2019 MarCom Awards for our work on Simply Bourbon and the Cuebiq comic book. Simply Bourbon and Cuebiq’s comic book were selected from thousands of entries in this yearly competition. The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers. 

We wrote, designed, and produced Simply Bourbon with a number of collaborators, which won platinum, to communicate the story and detail of all things bourbon—including its history, process, makeup, and culture. Every detail of Simply Bourbon was created for an engaging, memorable experience. 

Cuebiq’s comic book, which won gold, was a reimagination of the sales sheet. We created it for their sales team to break down the value proposition of their Clara product while also serving as a memorable leave-behind piece. The comic book works great for marketing and IT personas.
