Andy is as passionate about art as he is about cycling and he began doing both at an early age.
When not trying to master the slick freestyle biking moves he saw in the 80’s movie “Rad,” Andy’s junior high and high school years were spent filling notebook after notebook with sketches of anything and everything. After high school, Andy spent a summer in Uganda through the Teen Missions organization, creating a strong desire to help make a difference in the world. Judson College brought Andy up to the Chicago area from a small farm town in central Illinois, and he has been designing and art directing ever since (for those playing at home, nearly 20 years). That passion to make a difference eventually led him to Rule29 to explore more ways to make creative matter. When he’s not at work, you can find him on the Fox River trail either on his bike or walking with his wife and their two dogs.
